Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the Manuel Soccer Link Academy website and participation in Academy programmes. By registering a player, submitting a form on this website, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the player you are registering.
1. Registration and Eligibility
Registration is subject to review and acceptance by the Academy and completion of the player registration form, including consent from a parent or legal guardian for any player under 18. The Academy may decline or withdraw a registration at its discretion, including where information provided is incomplete or inaccurate.
2. Fees and Payment
Programme fees, payment schedules, and refund terms are set out separately by the Academy for each programme. [PROGRAMME FEE terms, payment schedule, and refund policy — to be confirmed and inserted here once finalised.]
3. Code of Conduct
Players, parents, guardians, coaches, and staff are expected to follow the Academy's Code of Conduct at all times during training, matches, travel, and Academy events. Breach of the Code of Conduct may result in suspension or termination of a player's registration.
4. No Guarantee of Outcomes
The Academy provides structured football development, training, and competitive opportunities. Progression within the Academy pathway depends on ability, discipline, attendance, development, attitude, and available opportunities. The Academy does not guarantee professional contracts, athletic scholarships, international transfers, trials with any club, or any specific footballing outcome.
5. Player Health and Fitness
Parents and guardians confirm, to the best of their knowledge, that a registered player is medically fit to participate in football training and matches, and agree to notify the Academy promptly of any change to a player's medical condition.
6. Photography, Video, and Player Profiles
Photography, video, and player profile information (including on the Player Profiles page of this website) are used only in accordance with our Safeguarding Policy and with the consent described there.
7. Limitation of Liability
Football is a physical sport and carries an inherent risk of injury. [LIABILITY AND INSURANCE TERMS — including the extent of the Academy's liability, insurance arrangements, and any waiver — to be drafted with qualified legal advice for Ghanaian law before this section is relied upon.]
8. Withdrawal and Termination
[WITHDRAWAL PROCEDURE — the process and any notice period for a parent or guardian to withdraw a player from the Academy, and the circumstances in which the Academy may terminate a registration, to be confirmed.]
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana.
10. Changes to These Terms
The Academy may update these Terms from time to time. Continued participation in Academy programmes after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
